S3001 pinhole leak detector (wet sponge method) is a multi voltage pinhole detector that uses the wet sponge method to detect pinholes, gaps, and damages in coatings with a thickness of less than 500 microns. Place the wet sponge on the coating, and the wet liquid seeps into the pinhole, conducting the circuit between the substrate and PINTECH. PINTECH automatically detects the circuit, sounds an alarm, and the red indicator light flashes, so the pinhole is detected.
S3001 pinhole leak detector (wet sponge method) can mark the pinhole for future repair, and then continue measuring. Three voltage options are available, 9V/67.5V/90V, in compliance with ASTM requirements. Usually, 9V measures coatings below 300 microns, and 90V measures coatings below 500 microns. Output voltage * * degrees ± 1% ± 0.1V
